How We Use Your Personal Data 2.1 To Enable and Deliver the Services We process personal data to:

● Provide access to scam risk assessments, domain analysis, and other core features;
● Process any subscription or service request;
● Send service-related notifications, such as account security alerts and updates;
● Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
● Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Services.
2.2 To Improve and Develop the Services We process personal data to:
● Analyze usage patterns to improve performance and user experience;
● Monitor platform metrics such as page load speed and traffic trends;
● Develop new features and test product enhancements;
● Aggregate community-submitted scam reports to identify emerging fraud patterns.
2.3 To Comply with Legal Obligations and Protect Rights We process personal data where necessary to:
● Comply with applicable laws, court orders, or requests from competent authorities;
● Enforce our Terms and Conditions;
● Investigate suspected misconduct, fraud, or abuse involving the Services;
● Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
2.4 Marketing and Promotional Communications Where you have explicitly consented or where permitted under applicable law, we may send you promotional communications about new features or services. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such communication.
2.5 Advertisements and Advertising Pixels Our website may display advertisements served by third-party advertising partners, and we run advertising campaigns on third-party platforms, including Google Ads and TikTok. To measure and optimize these campaigns, we use advertising pixels and tags and, where applicable, server-side event integrations (such as the Google Ads conversion tag, Google Tag Manager, and the TikTok Events API), which may collect data such as your IP address, device identifiers, and the pages or actions you took on our Services (for example, completing a scam check).
These advertising trackers are only activated if you have given consent to the "Marketing" cookie category described in Section 5. They do not fire under "Analytics" consent alone. Please refer to the cookie section and the relevant partner privacy policies for more information.
Retention of Your Personal Data We retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected. Where data is processed for the performance of a contract, we retain it for the duration of that contract and for a period thereafter as required by applicable law. Where processing is based on consent, we retain data until consent is withdrawn or the data is no longer necessary for the stated purpose.

This may involve sharing information such as your IP address, device and browser identifiers, and the specific on-site actions you completed (for example, validation_submitted or validation_completed events) with Google LLC, acting as a data processor/controller as applicable under Google's own terms, and subject to a data processing agreement as required under Article 28 of the GDPR where applicable.
The Google Ads conversion tag only operates if you have given consent to the "Marketing" cookie category described in Section 5. If you do not consent, no advertising identifiers or conversion events are sent to Google Ads for advertising purposes (this is separate from the Google Analytics processing described in Section 6, which operates under the "Analytics" category). You can withdraw this consent at any time through the cookie banner or browser settings, as described in Section 9.
6.2 TikTok Pixel We use the TikTok Pixel, and may use TikTok's server-side Events API, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on TikTok and to report conversion events such as completed scam checks. This may involve sharing information such as your IP address, device and browser identifiers, and the specific on-site actions you completed (for example, validation_submitted or validation_completed events) with TikTok Inc. and its affiliates, acting as a data processor/controller as applicable under TikTok's own terms.
The TikTok Pixel and related server-side integrations only operate if you have given consent to the "Marketing" cookie category described in Section 5. If you do not consent, no advertising identifiers or conversion events are sent to TikTok. You can withdraw this consent at any time through the cookie banner or browser settings, as described in Section 9.
Data Security We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. Our security practices include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, two-factor authentication for administrative accounts, and regular security assessments.

Scam Reporting Feature ScamInfo.ai allows users to submit reports of suspected scams and to search for information about specific websites and online services. When you submit a scam report, we collect the information you provide for the purpose of contributing to our scam intelligence database and improving the accuracy of risk assessments. Submitted reports are processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws
